How it Started

Mission:

E.X.P. Leaders participate in a variety of projects, working with Academica and affiliate partners. This is a temporary paid internship with the potential for permanent part/full-time opportunities based on availability among other factors. The mission of E.X.P. is to help recent Academica graduates and/or current high school students to begin gathering experience in fields they are interested in. Academica understands that being able to bring in students who are eager to collaborate and learn new skills is a privilege. Academica’s goal is to adequately prepare students for jobs by exposing them to a professional working environment. By practicing professionalism on a daily basis, they will be able to network with potential employers/organizations, gain valuable work experience along, and build friendships and professional relationships with other interns and employees. This internship will allow them to gain experience in their fields of interest.
